Este proyecto forma parte del macroproyecto: “BIOPROSPECCIÓN DE OOMYCOTA Y HONGOS COMO BIOCONTROLADORES DE Aedes aegypti. EN TRES ZONAS ENDÉMICAS Y EVALUACIÓN DE PROTOCOLOS PARA SU PRODUCCIÓN MASIVA EN FERMENTACIÓN LÍQUIDA MEDIANTE TANQUE AGITADO, Convocatoria 844, código Minciencias 11158447306, contrato 730-2020”. Con esta investigación se proponen estrategias de manejo del mosquito, mediante el uso de hongos entomopatógenos que tienen la habilidad para parasitar diferentes órdenes de insectos. En este trabajo se evaluó la actividad patogénica in vitro de 4 aislamientos del género Trichoderma (ENA1, ENA2, M1A5, HNA1), provenientes de Nuquí (Chocó) sobre estadios larvales del díptero Aedes aegypti. Se realizaron pruebas de patogenicidad probando una concentración estandarizada sobre larvas L2-L3 de Ae. aegypti y el aislamiento más patogénico fue sometido a pruebas de concentración letal 50 y tiempo letal 50. Finalmente, se comprobaron los postulados de Koch y se realizó un análisis estadístico no paramétrico. Se encontró que el aislamiento ENA1 presentó mayor actividad patogénica que los otros aislamientos, con una CL50 de 2.4628 x 107 y 1.0450 x 107 con/ml y un TL50 de 9.45 horas. Con los resultados se propone ampliar las investigaciones respecto a los metabolitos secundarios que produce este hongo.
